I was not a huge Elizabeth Taylor fan until I watched all that she did for the AIDS crisis, especially considering how unpopular it was.

I can understand that feeling. It was a major part of his life. And for long time, he was good at it. Losing that leaves a big hole that is hard to fill. But was time for him to go. At least he got a proper send-off.
