Politics is not 2 dimensional. Other axes are more important than "left-right" eg establishment vs anti-establishment, centralist vs decentralist, pro-economic growth vs pro-sustainability.

This analysis makes a circular argument: "It's not just left and right anymore" But then it falsely sorts the 5 parties into a left and a right bloc and claims voters don't switch between blocs. None of the parties can adequately be placed on a left-right axis. And their voters definitely can't.

2/2 National leaders, like Starmer, who fail to condemn Trump are also undermining the UN and international law and giving succour to Putin. Trump is doing this because domestically his presidency is under threat.

Well you'll see what you want to see I suppose. There's plenty of evidence the writer Nick Ferrari is a bigot and the Express a cheap rag. But that headline (which will have been written by a sub editor, not Ferrari) isn't it.
