An eastern fox squirrel eating snow in Graceland Cemetery — where I’ve noticed one or two of these squirrels, which have a more orange color than the eastern gray squirrels that are more common in Chicago.

Yes, there is a Fire Museum of Greater Chicago! It's in an old fire station at 5218 S. Western Ave. It includes the Ken Little Library, which is typically open on Monday mornings. I had fun poking around there today. firemuseumofgreaterchicago.com
