Irrespective of one's religion, political party or economic philosophy, the new Mayor of NYC, gives me hope for 2026. We all need some hope. Being in Manhattan during the holidays, eating at restaurants from all different countries - I felt "this is the 'Melting Pot' this is NYC. Amen to Mamdani.

Trump has never seen Ukraine as an ally. Putin is operating on a whole other level of sociopathic ruthlessness. Trump just equated Ukraine's defensive strikes with Putin bombing apartment buildings in Kyiv. I have little hope for this meeting. Wishing strength to Zelenskyy & Slava Ukraini!

(e.g. how he thinks he could still be awarded a Nobel Peace Prize) He of course hasn't had a right/wrong moral compass since his early childhood.
