Today a D.C. jury found the man who threw a sandwich at a Customs and Border Patrol officer not guilty on a misdemeanor assault charge. @mollyroberts.bsky.social was in the courtroom for the trial and reports on the proceedings that led to the acquittal:

As a prosecutor, I worked with many ICE officers who arrested violent criminals. None of them wore masks.
