Based on MPD, the violent crime rate reduced by 28% in the initial 11 months of 2025 compared with the same period in 2024. In 2024, the violent crime rate reduced by 35% compared to 2023. Therefore, the rate of violent crime reduction is decreasing rather than accelerating. mpdc.dc.gov/dailycrime

Italy introduced a co-payment system in 1978 based on what are defined as "tickets" linked to the type of service needed. Despite all the complaints about the system in Italy, my personal experience is that the Italian approach is fairer and offers better quality than the NHS.

It is a pity. I saw one of your live shows in Bath, and it was great (and surprisingly cheap!).

It is a shameful, unbalanced agreement. The EU companies exporting goods to the US will have a price disadvantage vs the local companies because of the tariffs, and the US companies selling services in the EU will have a strategic advantage because of the unregulated local market and no tariffs

In Italy, pizza is eaten with a knife and fork. Does this mean that the US is a third-world country?

From the other side of the pond, The Boys seems to be a good metaphor for the US political situation.

With all due respect for the people on the other side of the pond, in Europe, we have lower crime rates than the US. In Europe, the homicides are a fraction than the US.

Can someone ask around if C.J. Cregg is available? C.J. will undoubtedly improve the quality of these exchanges.

Well, this week there is the Sanremo song festival in Italy. Everyone is distracted because of that. Let's see if Georgia Meloni will catch up next week when Sanremo is over.

Mi sembra che sia Makkox sia Natangelo non siano nella lista. Non sono proprio giornalisti ma entrambi sono pubblicati su giornali, e se c'è Vauro mi sembra giusto che ci siano anche loro.

I agree, and seeing at which speed politicians adapt will be extremely interesting. From my limited point of view, it seems that LidDems were the first to move to #BlueSky in measurable numbers (as I expected), but Badenoch being quicker than Labours surprised me.
