Recent heavy body acrylic on heavy weight multimedia paper titled “St Martin Collage” 25.75 in sq. It’s not a landscape you’d actually see on the island but has all the elements we love: mountains, beach, Caribbean architecture, palms, gorgeous blue skies and turquoise sea.

In St Martin I painted with gauche while sipping an Aperol spritz with beautiful Marilyn across the table with her favorite rose. While painting, a French bartender asked if he could take a video of the near complete scene. Plein air is great fun but challenging. I was tuckered afterward, but happy.
