@profdevisridhar.bsky.social making a very important analysis of the “super flu” NHS crisis. Admissions costs £thousands, while the flu vaccine is cheap in comparison. Planning and implementing health strategies can save money and bed space. Spend to Save with NHS funding with result in saving.

I have been keen to reduce jury requirements, replaced with legal expert panels/judges in the majority of cases. Unsure what @greenparty.org.uk position with this?

NO, NO, NO! Just get rid of standing charge and put a small increase in energy unit cost. This will help reduce costs for low energy users and increase costs for high energy users. And financially support the important green levies.

Do you know what? It IS working. It hasn't caused tailbacks, quite the opposite actually. More importantly it's saved the lives of at least a dozen kids. Reform are actually campaigning for the return of more deaths and injuries. Absolutely bonkers.
