I don't usually like "video game in real life" books, but Dungeon Crawler Carl slaps!

The premise is absurd but the stakes are dead serious. And somehow the talking cat works. We love her.

The common American Crow. These ones were enjoying some Mission BBQ right out of the dumpster! You'll find them all over, from urban to rural.

Rock Pigeons. You will see them everywhere in NYC, but did you know they use the Earth's magnetic fields to find their way around? 🧲

...and they also can get nutrients from eating vomit 😅

It was a far away shot, but I think these are European Starlings. Common but cool! Dark with white spots in the Winter (pictured), but they develop a green and purple sheen in the summer!
