Writer & translator. Art, music, the natural world, the state of the world. "So the paradox is, it's much easier to imagine the end of all life on earth than a much more modest radical change in capitalism.“ ~ Slavoj Žižek

Human life & objects & trees vibrate with mysterious meanings, which can be deciphered like cuneiform writing. There exists a meaning, hidden from day to day, but accessible in moments of greatest attentiveness, in those moments when consciousness loves the world.

Through tattered clothes small vices do appear.
Robes and furred gowns hide all. Plate sin with gold,
And the strong lance of justice hurtless breaks.
Arm it in rags, a pygmy’s straw does pierce it.

It's nice to see all those friends in your garden, Yoshimi, have a good Wednesday!

Well, strictly speaking, we use subjunctive mood/bare infinitive after a suggestion or recommendation (it could also be “we suggested that he SHOULD go...”. But, honestly, Yoshimi, for me BOTH go and goes are correct in your sentence! This grammar really is not so important in my opinion...🙂

The subjunctive nearly always follows certain phrases, Yoshimi, eg, ‘I LIKE doING’ something (I like cycling/reading/watching etc) or ‘I ENJOY doING’ something (I enjoy walking in the forest/by the sea etc) or ‘I'm KEEN ON’ doING something (I'm keen on playing the piano/painting flowers etc)...

Peace is not an absence of war.
It is a virtue,
a state of mind,
a disposition for benevolence,
trust, and justice.
