Trump is doing this knowing it will harm children & despite Mental Health being a primary concern for families, second only to academic achievement. The language in the letter is abhorrent & a reflection of the total lack of understanding of the mental health crises our YOUTH actually face.

Tuesday, while headed back from #CapitolHill, we learned that Trump & Linda McMahon are canceling our School Based Mental Health Service Grant. This money was allocated by #Congress through the Appropriations Committee in the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act signed following the massacre in #Uvalde.

Earlier this week I let you all know that Lemon Grove School District was in #Washington advocating for our #SchoolDistrict, our #community, & the future of #PublicEducation.
