How does a book like yours even get published in China? I would’ve thought it’d be abridged/censored to within an inch of its life! Like, goes in a book, comes out a pamphlet.

It just really hit me, the second sentence particularly (from ‘Arbitrary’ to ‘censorship’), that it was essentially identical to reading today’s headlines, most obviously in the US but also here in Australia & probably the UK too.

I have been thinking this very thing for many years, and have always then thought ‘but that can’t be right, can it?’ Maybe ‘Don’t Come Around Here No More’ and… no that’s about it.
