Sorry to hear that. Most of the bluegrass folks I listen to are definitely on the more progressive/inclusive side. Can't speak for the fans though.

When I was young I thought it was really cool that they could talk to the computer in Star Trek. I laughed when Scotty tried to use the mouse as a microphone in the time travel movie.
