Incredible. Cumulative disruption is the fucking point of protest - it's why we protest! The gov just wants performative pleasant signs held by people who immediately go away after a nice afternoon out. It's absolutely dreadful where we are going in this country.
Repeating protests gives them more impact and power, so of course no government wants that. What a shambles. Her instincts are painfully authoritarian and frankly stupid.

I don't know if you're referring to chains here but just go indy. Go to Coffi, I'm at UoL. Coffee is excellent, baristas efficient but coffee is not all the same either - Italian coffee is a different thing from specialty, for example.
The independent is an old socialist and pro-Palestinian getting nearly 14%. I don't know how much is a personal vote for him or how much is maybe Labour should look at their left flank and not their right. We'll see when YP exist and polling starts I guess.
