I do sort of have an idea for it, it’s to do with something @chrisshaweditor.bsky.social once said on Twitter, ‘the more I learn about the Beatles, the less I understand’ (I’m paraphrasing), but the idea is that there’s an essential mystery to them and that’s why we keep going back to them. One day!

If I was to write a book it would be called The Unreal Beatles. Unsure what it’s about yet but I like the title.

That’s so interesting. One thing I wondered about the discussion around the book is are people suggesting that it sort of goes deeper than Groundhog Day? Because I think all the existential stuff is there in the film. Or am I just having arguments with imaginary people in my head (again)?
