Housecats domesticated themselves because of the way their family dynamic works. They basically said "Hey, this place is warm, and has mice. Watch the kittens while I hunt, willya?"
Meanwhile, most other wildcats are actively hostile towards humans. You can make friends, but they won't domesticate.

That's only when he needs cash in a hurry. Otherwise he flies around looking at the ground until he can spot gold deposits.

Fluffy!

Clearly you need to be taking more pictures of superheroes!

Personally, I've always found it interesting that Superman can afford a nice apartment in a major metropolitan (hah) city, while Spider-Man barely scrapes by paycheck to paycheck.

This tells me that typing speed is a major determining factor in newspaper salaries.

They're *very* clout-y...

Not a reliable measurement. Manuls (Pallas Cat) are very very not-friend, despite their size and fluffiness.

Being a journalist is sick: I just contacted a pre-eminent jaguar conservationist in Argentine with a question that has been weighing on me for ages and he wrote back right away with an informed answer.

Yeah, it's weird. Cats are either able to purr or roar, but not both. Felidae (small cats) purr, Pantherae (big cats) mostly all roar - with the notable exceptions of snow leopards, cheetahs, and mountain lions.

Which also compares with the "At least it's a DRY Satan's Buttcrack", possibly with the same two penguins...

Wrap up in blankies time!

Sun Tzu would never admit it, but sometimes what you need is a sneaky rotten bastard to win.

Heck, I'm Cali born and bred, and I'd be out in that! I've got long underwear and wool socks.

Think of the poor slime molds!
January 25, 2026 at 10:37 PM
Yep.

Zero consequences. They want to shoot people who stand up to them, so that's what they're gonna do. If that pisses people off, no worries, they'll shoot them too.

Bnnuy!

Sigh... And therein lies the rub. A lot of the complements and attention I get are from male furries, and I'm straight.
Great, yes, thanks, glad you think so, sorry this is awkward.
