Am I the only one noting that after demonizing China for years, Trump seems to be letting them off lightly, while going full tilt against Canada? Is it Musk's business interests? Have Chinese players been buying Trumpcoin?

Yep. Again....had Ross Ulbricht not have been a "King Fish" Crypto guy....with over $6 billion dollars as a result....that Trump can free up for him, this pardon would likely never have even been a discussion Trump had. #RossUlbricht
Something to think about with the Ross Ulbricht pardon. The feds are still sitting on $6.5 billion in bitcoin seized from silk road. If Trump gives it back to Ulbricht, he could easily pay back Trump by trading it for Trump coin. A potential bribe of millions or billions of dollars for a pardon.

The change in WaPo's slogan from “Democracy Dies in Darkness”to "Riveting Storytelling for All of America” says just about all we need to know about the demise of America's press.

Watching so many people having spent money to go to the inauguration, and then Trump canceling it because he’s worried about the pictures and small crowds, is a perfect picture of his whole relationship with his supporters.

They give and give, he takes and takes.

Israel & Hamas Agree to Gaza Cease-Fire Deal.
Why does it bring to mind the Reagan/Bush October Surprise? Because the same kind of deal happened the day after Reagan's Inauguration? @craigunger.bsky.social

I’m not sure what was worse: that Merrick Garland couldn’t bring himself to prosecute Trump on his own and felt he had to bring in a special counsel as cover, or that he waited so long to do it that Smith never got Trump inside a courtroom.

History won’t be forgiving to Garland.
Jack Smith resigns from DOJ
The special counsel's departure was disclosed in a court filing submitted Saturday afternoon to U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon.
