My fantasy: the Walk For Peace monks and helpers are celebrated at the WH, our President welcoming them, news media sharing their stories of the walk, encounters, the lessons. A celebration of respect and gratitude. And then I remembered….it’s not like that anymore.

Report from the Field. We moved to a cabin in redwoods, West Sonoma coast. A 5-year project of minimalism and mindfulness. Unwinding big lives. I call it sadhana. No Internet yet but it’s coming, just not now. I go to the village library for Internet. It’s a not bad thing. I am in now, now, now. ☮️
First night after our big move to our cabin in the redwoods. Grateful and exhausted. No cell signals or WiFi on property yet but it’s on its way soon. The forest is enforcing a digital detox! Talk soon…..
