Wonder how much paperwork it would now take to get troops and equipment into EU. Would they get held up in customs? 😄

Trump wants to profit from USA’s support for Ukraine, payback that he wants to cut other contributors out of.

Could this be part of an elaborate plan to show the advantages of EU membership? 😂

No excuses on the surface, but in reality with a tight majority he’ll be tied up in constant horse trading.

As with winter fuel payments, right idea but implemented so bluntly and undiplomatically that there will be unintended consequences at the edges. The CX needs to embrace the concept of tapering or even adopting an enhanced tax on any later disposal of inherited land.

I would not underestimate Harris. She doesn’t let her ego get in the way of getting the result she wants.

And they’re doing it all on “feels”, almost no policy. Very hard for Trump to counter. I think there’s a craving to get back to the comfort of “normal” and real American values.

He’s desperate for something new to grab the headlines with. His whole strategy was based around re-fighting the last election.

What Cambridge Analytica and others did in 2016 is already old tech. When you have direct access to both target and amplify content and then analyse reactions in detail with better AI to process the data, you can create a set of remote controls for a section of society.

It’s an interesting question that if an organisation is incentivising engagements by reward, do they have a greater duty of care or responsibility for the content and nature? If so, then algorithms designed to amplify the same content must be seen as an aggravating factor.
