Dr. Stone (Season 4)
No score, cause it's still ongoing, but the final season of Dr. Stone is a thankfully a step-up from Season 3. Overall not quite as good as the first two, but individual episodes do get there. I’m very excited for the finale!

I *know* this anime turned some people off because it has "Isekai" written on it! A real shame, cause this actually looks and feels more like an older, pre-SAO Isekai. And being an anime original sets it apart even more from the usual light novel adaptations.

Just the cutest tourism ad for Japan! Jokes aside, it's actually pretty cozy and the places the cast visits are interesting and well researched. Probably because the mangaka visited them all themselves, in the same way as the main character.

Probably the weakest remake of a classic anime I've personally seen. That doesn't mean it's bad though, kinda feels like a one of those anime you'd watch after school. For when you want a classic Shonen, but with modern animation, it does the job.

An adaptation of a gag manga. A pretty funny one, most of the time. With 25 episodes in this first season alone, you get a spread of hits and misses, but I think mostly hits. And there's also a bit of more typical shonen action, which is... kinda boring.

God, this show makes Japan seem boring. Half the show is just the main characters eating food and going "Wow, this sure is good!" And the other half is them *leaving* Japan and going back to the most boring Isekai world that you will ever see.

Ah yes, a totally normal anime about bowling, and absolutely nothing else!
...Okay, without any spoilers: this is not just a bowling anime. There is a twist to it. Some people were probably upset by that, but I can't argue: The show is good!

Full disclosure, this wasn't on my radar at all! Wasn't even on my watchlist. But I saw it in a Christmas movie watchalong and honestly? I get it. It's... a very kind movie, if that makes sense. It has a certain feeling that every Christmas film needs.

And this is for those who prefer their Yuri a lot more toxic! Disturbingly so sometimes, this show deals a lot with depression and survivors guilt. But it's still tragically beautiful in the way it deals with it.
Also, Miko > Shiori.

God, this show is funny! And I'm happy with how fast it's moving! With how in the closet the protagonist is, you'd think the romance would never go anywhere. But no, girl is collecting girlfriends left and right!

An anthology series featuring all the short stories Tatsuki Fujimoto made before Chainsaw Man. And man, this guy really has some wild ideas. I enjoyed almost all of these and some could've even made for great anime on their own.

This is probably a 10/10 for a lot of people. And yeah, it's pretty good. Personally, I have some problems with the ending, but it's still a very well made show and worth checking out. But be warned, it deals with a lot of heavy subject matter.

I actually saw Belle, the semi-successor to this movie, first and it kinda put me off. It looked pretty, but the story was kinda meh. Thankfully I watched Summer Wars anyway, because it does not have that problem. Its story is exactly as good as its looks!

With how rare good horror anime are, it's nice to see one that is scary on multiple levels. The monster designs are nice and creepy, the town feels very Silent Hill-esque and of course, most of all: psychological horror. The best kind!

Simple concept: 2 friends eating together and talking about random topics. And yet it works so well! The girls have strong personalities that play off each other great, making it very enjoyable. 6 episodes isn't enough, I need more!

Bocchi the Rock, but fantasy! And with a lot more political intrigue and beautiful men. I enjoyed this show even more than I was expecting. Wish they'd gone a bit more into the magic system, but this show has a lot going for it as it is.

Just watch the first episode. Seriously, if that doesn't get you hooked, nothing I say here will. "It's by the studio that made Dandadan". There, go watch! This is my favorite new show of the year and I'm gonna rewatch it every Christmas, until we get a Season 2.

Seriously, how does a show about Mineralogy have some of the most beautiful animation of the year??? And also makes me invested in a topic I had zero interest in? I guess this counts as "edutainment", but it's told so well, it doesn't feel like it.

It says a lot about a show, especially an Isekai, when it can have the protagonist just not be in half a season, because the side characters are strong enough to carry their own arcs! Even more so, now that we have such a huge cast!

Oh, you can tell that the author LOVES Tokusatsu! It feels like this is just an excuse for him to make his own Sentai show! Y'know, good for him, this is a really fun show. And I'm not even a huge Tokusatsu guy

I like that this season develops the Vending Machines relationship with his human love interest more. What a beautiful sentence to write! The rest of the plot I can take or leave, but this one thing really got me invested!

The Ranma remake continues to be great! I haven't gotten to the original yet, but I really enjoyed the new characters that showed up this season! (Well, most of them...) Although overall, I think I preferred the stories in Season 1 a bit more

I never thought I'd see this show returns. And they still got it! This is exactly what a Panty & Stocking sequel should be. I love how insane and creative it is, you never know what they'll do next! 10 more seasons, please!

A historical setting, a very strong cast and a suspenseful story. It's a lot of people just talking to each other. That's probably not for everyone, but I think it's great! And it would've been even better, if it ended 2 episodes earlier.

I expected this one to be trashy, kinda edgy and carried by an unusual premise, and... yeah, it kinda is that! But I did have fun watching it. Very bingeable, with pretty good character designs and *delightful* villains!
