He might think that but right now Maduro loyalists will be ferrying supplies into the jungle to carry on an insurgency. BTW Venezuela is bigger than South Vietnam.

MAGA once again proving they know no history whatsoever. 1776 very nearly saw the end of the fledgling American Republic. Far from supremacy the Continental Army came within a whisker of being cut off and destroyed on Long Island. It wasn't until 1777 that America gained the upper hand.
