May seem a little weird to share this, but this praise from my mum to @matthew-hardy.bsky.social @countpagan.bsky.social @simongough2099.bsky.social and I is probably the highest praise and most worthwhile praise I think my comics work has ever got.
A text message from my mum to me: Rob I have just emptied the bag with presents in and I was surprised to find Thunderchild 1to 3 in with them. Thank you so much for those, I have read all three this afternoon whilst having a cup of tea. They are really good, the story line, the artwork and presentation is brilliant. I am so proud of all of you who did these books, my son and his friends. I truly hope you are all proud of yourselves.

Little man recieved an end of term Merit Award for his contribution to coding at his school. He has even taught the teachers a thing or two and expanded their knowledge. Plus, he has set up his own coding club at school too. So very proud of him.

On top of using redstone in Minecraft to explain how RAM works, little man is trying to design UI in a comic book style. Even asked his old man for lettering tips. 10 years old and trying his hardest to do graphic design.

A few days of minecraft, lego, organising bedrooms and raspberry pi-ing our way through the day. Couldn't think of a better way to spend time with this monkey.

The best part of Nell introducing the step-kid is their love of Spike and the ensuing memes we can all share betwixt one another.
A snippet from a WhatsApp conversation with myself and my step-kid, named Subpar Telescope in my phone. It shows the complaining lady pointing out of frame, with a woman stood to her side, she is pointing at a very smug looking white cat with a plate of salad in front of it. Below it in a similar composition is a scene from Bugfy the Vampire slayer where Buffy is in the same position as the woman pointing with Dawn stood next to her, as she points out of frame, and then with the same smug look, Spike the vampire who is tied up is giving a similar smug look as the cat. My stepkid has quoted the post saying 'THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER' to which I have laugh reacted.
