A depiction of England & Yorkshire bowler Hedley Verity leading his men on Sicily in 1943, this poignant piece is called “Last Innings”.

The crypt at Saints Cyril and Methodius is really worth visiting if you get the chance. If you’ve seen the film Operation Daybreak, or Anthropoid, you’ll recognise it. Sends a shiver down your spine being there.

In Oxford yesterday and took the opportunity to check out the The Parks’ cricket pavilion. A beautiful building, wonder how many great players must have graced it over the years?

Watching @bunnymen.com performing Ocean Rain at the Royal Albert Hall in 2023 with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra was pretty special. 🐰 🎸 🎻 ❤️
