His mom isn't too worried. Tammy: Looks like your new sweater is too big. Panel 2 Bolero lifts an arm and watches the rest of the sleeve be pulled down by gravity. Tammy: You'll just have to grow into it. Panel 3 Bolero begins to lift the back of the neckline of the sweater upward. Tammy: You can take it off. Panel 4 Bolero has the sweater covering the back of his head and he's lifting the arms so the sleeves flop around in the air. He feels like a medieval peasant working tirelessly in the fields. Perhaps one plotting treason against the king. Bolero: I love this. Tammy: Really? Bolero: Can I wear it to school?

Looks like they're going to have to look up the rules and make sure they're both playing the same way. Hannah: Ugh! Let's both read through the rules so we're on the same page. Gustopher: Okay. Panel 3 Hannah is staring at her phone and is not really sure what she's reading. What is a Redoubled Contract? Isn't a Grand Slam something you get at restaurants? Why does it say they need four players? Panel 4 Hannah is starting to put the pieces together. Hannah: I don't think either of us are playing right. Gustopher: I don't know what half these words mean. Seriously! What's a "Dummy Hand" and an "Unfinished Rubber".

How'd you propose to your ex? August: I didn't. Panel 2 Nate is happy to have an opportunity to learn more about one of his favorite co-workers. Nate: Oh? She proposed to you? August: We never married. Panel 3 Nate is slowly realizing that his mental image of August's life does not match what he has envisioned in his head. Nate: But you have a son. August: Yes. Panel 4 Nate realizes that this conversation is far too real than what he had expected for a coffee break. He is suddenly experiencing levels of awkwardness that he had not mentally prepares for. He tries to think of a way to gracefully exit this conversation. Nate: This conversation has become more real than I was prepared for. August: Want to return to work? Nate: YES! August is unbothered.
