I develop full stack .NET web apps. Simple will always beat complicated. Blazor/SSR/HTMX fanboy. I worked the HTML mines in the 90’s so get off my lawn.

Many years back, I added an aftermarket CIS system to my Brother printer. It worked flawlessly despite the printer complaining I’d run out of ink every few thousands prints. They clearly just assumed ink levels based on page counts.

I worked at a law firm and the partner I was working with said he always offers to go to small claims with people he disputes. He said they often just capitulate because it’s less effort.

I’m really amazed they let it get to this stage. Customer support is a crap shoot these days.

It should really be using ink tanks to be completely open.

Although, I bet HP are working on how to lock down ink too.

“Rivals” is a fantastic TV series.

Brother printers are rock solid and cheap to run, in my experience.

That being said, a Panasonic printer, that would probably survive an apocalypse.

Oh and he said it’s also Labour’s fault.

'The world doesn’t owe you a living’: PM says 4300 teens will lose Jobseeker benefit next year

Unlike politicians, most jobseekers can’t just lie their way into a job.

My 17yo daughter can’t find work anywhere at the moment. Weirdly, businesses that are struggling under govt policies aren’t inclined to take on new staff.

He’s got his. He’s sorted.

We have Aramex here in NZ.

I assume they’re called that because all parcels are routed via Mexico.

If you'd asked me which celebrity would posthumously unveil a list of people she wanted fired into the sun, I would not have guessed Jane Goodall

Dr. Jane Goodall filmed an interview with Netflix in March 2025 that she understood would only be released after her death.

I should have mentioned it’s very much a work in progress 😀

There is zero value in the existence of an entirely AI generated video social network. Literally only bad things will come of this.

These tech bros are really not helping to dispel the dead internet theory.

@woodruff.dev FYI, I’ve started creating a Blazor SSR version of your HTMX examples repo. You will see a draft PR has been opened from me.

It will probably take me a bit to get full coverage so don’t be alarmed 😀

Not to mention Guigsy whose approach to timing could best be described as “loose”.

The AI review channel slop on YouTube is getting out of hand.

Looking at wireless CarPlay adapters and half the reviews are using the same voice and “human” thumbnail.

It’s a great talk and I’ve implemented a number of his recommendations already.

I have had pretty good experiences with Brother printers but ultimately they all suck in some way.

I’m the opposite. I got into Blazor back in the .NET 5 days and skipped Razor Pages completely.

Blazor SSR is a pretty close analogue to RP but with the composition model thrown into the mix.

How about using HttpContextAccessor.HttpContext.Response.Redirect since its server side?

Damn, I missed out of #DotNetConf selection.

Ah, well.
