Well I mean that’s kind of basically what their uniforms are, considering that they meet (most) lab safety standards. (I think technically Viktor would need a headband depending on how long his hair is)

I always just assumed he thought none of those people had actually met a scientist before so he needed to show up in a lab coat or smthn so they’d know which one was him and he realized he could get away with it

The documentary is kinda spooky in the way watching the X-Files is but with the added general bad feeling of real people being in distress and people dismissing it as being "crazy". Statistically some of them actually believe it and aren't getting help.

Just a little bit of funniness in the idea that he’s extremely picky for Viktor so it’s taking him forever but while he’s looking he keeps seeing people who are perfect for each other, completely unrelated to that search

Additionally Jayce wasn't in an actually established relationship with either of them before that, so he only would have entered a relationship with one of them (Mel) if you do interpret it that way. Thus still no cheating.

I didn't? The relevance to me is that there's just no cheating occurring even if you view both relationships as having romantic feelings involved. If you interpret them having sex as the start of a romantic relationship you're fine to do that, I just personally don't.

Is it weird it reminds me of that time I was a kid and wanted to braid the black and white hair on my Frankie Stein doll so I took all the little rubber bands out and tried to wash it to get the hair to stop sticking together

Tbh I don't even see Jayce and Mel as being in an actual romantically involved relationship even if there was potential for it to develop, but that might just be because shows consider Het people making eye contact a romantic relationship.
