The combat is so flavorless, and often such an HP-reduction slog. But alas, sometimes, it's the only game people want to play. If you want lighter - try Dragonbane or Shadowdark, the combat's a blast and fast.

That entire story is a head shaker / slapper from start to finish.

I would say all the female leads on Rune Soldier were strong, not just Genie.

I liked how facehuggers and sometimes xenomorphs now came in horrific high-speed swarms. It reminds me of how zombies suddenly seemed 100% more dangerous in 28 Days Later than in prior zombie films. But overall, Romulus was just kind of "meh" for me. 3 out of 5 :-)
