I'm sorry Keith, I did know about the laser sword but didn't know that it was good/worth getting. When I got the UFO ending, I just reloaded my save file and kept going instead of starting a new game so it never gave me the sword.

So excited for this! Just did a one off (which, in the grand tradition of one offs, ended up being three sessions long) of Realis with the ashcan and it was the most fun I've had GMing a game in a long time.

Warp had this idea that video game characters could be "digital actors" and show up in multiple different games. So D, D2 and Enemy Zero all have a white blond lady named Laura as their main character. She looks and sounds the same but she's a completely different person each time.

I'm so excited that you've discovered the video game D. D and the other games from Kenji Eno/Warp have that same energy as Clock Tower where it feels like you're looking into a different world where video game design took a couple of wildly divergent turns.
