A friend of mine asked me to fix a broken space heater. Specifically, the power cord had been chewed through by a dog. They'd called the company that makes it, who had said it would not be possible to fix it. After opening it up, it looks like the cable is designed to be replaceable.

Update: I found this pair of wire strippers at an electronics store. Haven't gotten to try them out yet, hopefully the handle insulation will hold up better.

Anybody know a good pair of wire strippers for controls engineering? I have the Klein red handles currently, 12-28 stranded, which has done well but the insulation on the handles gives out way too easily. 12-24awg would be perfect.
