We desperately need more research on this. www.nytimes.com/2025/07/03/o... An EEG or FMRI lighting up isn't proof in itself of good or bad. I'm sure doing math in my head has the same effect. I still use the calculator. But whether we want to outsource value judgements to AI is a vital question.
