Reading this, it struck me that it’s possible he could be converted to a Striker (big & fast, plays off both sides, dribbles well, lots of shots). At the risk of trying to turn every young winger into Thierry Henry, any thoughts on whether this could be a fit for him?

xG overperformance seems to be an area where data and the eye test don’t line up. Could that be because xG only registers when you take a shot, and we pass up too many opportunities to shoot (either no shot or no-one getting on the end of a cross), or some other reason?

Plus the argument of reducing time played by 1st choice players without acknowledging that putting others who aren’t up to it on the pitch will cost you points also seems a little disingenuous
