This is incredible! For the first time in 400 years, beaver babies have been born in Northamptonshire!

Boudica & Alan were released earlier this year… and now they’ve started a family at the Nene Wetlands. 🌿

👉 The University of Kent has just become the first UK university to pledge never to carry out sepsis experiments on animals after hearing from PETA.

Kent’s decision is a big step forward: saying no to cruelty, yes to compassion, and yes to research that actually saves lives.

New York is finally phasing out horse-drawn carriages 🙌

Finally, some justice.

Six people who protested at the 2023 Grand National have been found not guilty. The jury recognised they weren’t reckless but acting out of genuine concern for horses. Caring about animals is not a crime. 🐎✊

🚫🐶 A puppy farm in Lincolnshire has been STOPPED.

74 objections swayed councillors, who saw dogs in sheds:
❌ No windows
❌ No light
❌ Locked 14 hrs overnight

The council said NO.

A win for dogs. A win for local voices. 🐾

Time will tell if this debate leads to real change but what’s certain is that we’ll keep up the pressure. This government needs to know we’re not going anywhere, and the public will keep demanding protection for British wildlife.

Eva & Emily bred harvest mice in their garages for 2 years, crowdfunded £4k, and built a release pen. And they made into the UK News this week as they released 250 mice into a Devon reserve. 🌱
