I'm appalled how quickly they jumped to damage control and gaslighting. 'No that's not what he did' and 'No, that's not what he meant'.

I saw screenshots of some parts of the article, and I did it right before bed. Spent half the night staring at the ceiling. As a parent, I couldn't make myself read the whole thing, it was too sickening. I'm mad at myself for ever liking him and currently contemplating what to do with my books
