I’m always drawn to stories about the creative process, especially when it comes to filmmaking. Haven’t read these yet, but they are now on my list!
From eccentric directors and actors prone to diva fits, to ambitious locations that are impossible to navigate, these novels capture the all intrigue of filmmaking.

In eighth grade, my teachers wrote each of us a poem for graduation, envisioning where we would each be in the years ahead. Mine read: “And what about Rocco Cataldo, the Italian boy everyone likes? He’s in Hollywood making movies with his purple hair done up in spikes.” Hair has long been more gray!
