Rochester Mutual Aid Network Free Grocery Pop Up On Saturday, November 1st, 2025, from 3PM-6PM, we will be hosting a free grocery pop up at St. Joseph's Park on the corner of North Clinton Avenue and Pleasant Street! We will have shelf-stable kitchen staples, personal hygiene supplies, harm reduction supplies, and fresh produce. Food Not Bombs' Saturday serve will begin around 6:30PM across the street at the Transit Center. If you would like to enjoy a meal provided by them, please consider stopping over to see them after the grocery pop up ends! If you're planning on driving to the pop up, please park on the Pleasant Street side of the park. There will be much less traffic on that side of the park and it will make it much easier to attend the pop up. If you are able to, please consider offering a ride to the pop up, or coming on someone else's behalf. Our elderly population in particular can have a hard time making it to events like this, so please try to lend a hand to a neighbor if you're able to!

Heated Blanket Skillshare and Donation Drive: Join Rochester Mutual Aid Network, Recovery All Ways, Rochester Grants Pass Resistance, and Roc Food Not Bombs for an event that is harm reduction in action! We'll gather at Tru Yoga in the South Wedge to make USB/solar rechargeable heated blankets for our unhoused neighbors. No experience required, but please do bring scissors, fabric glue, and/or a sewing machine if you have one! November 15th, 4PM until 8PM at Tru Yoga. 683 South Ave, Rochester NY, 14620. Can't make the event? Drop off a blanket donation at Tru any time between now and 11/15 or donate funds to help us buy supplies!

Today we served food at the local event for Daniel's Day in addition to our usual serve at Rochester Transit Center (RTS).

There was chili at Daniel's Day and pasta with fake meat at our usual serve. All vegan, of course.

Specifically right now we really need coffee and vegan sugar donated but money is really great too.

There's squash and garbanzo beans and apples! Our classic row of clamshells being dished out. A lot of it came from donated garbage plates, including vegan garbage plates! Our morning coffee & breakfast serve. We had hot & iced coffee, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches with our own homemade jam, and a lot of hygiene products like deodorant, soap, tampons, and condoms, as well as know-your-rights cards for immigrants and water.

This morning's breakfast serve went nice. We had oatmeal, PB&Js, bananas, and fresh-ground coffee: hot, iced, and cold-brew. Join us every wednesday at RTS for free food & coffee!
3 coffee pots at various stages of brewing. The coffee grinder is visible to the left, and a microwave is partially in frame to the right. A bag of "Intelligentsia Black Cat Analog" coffee beans, today's brew. The serving table with airpots, oatmeal tubs, PB&Js, cups & lids, a sugar shaker, etc.

This Saturday we served mashed potatoes with mushroom and pepper stir fry and a salad of green beans, corn, and asparagus with lime dressing. 😋
