An 18 second delay is much more likely to knock someone out of flow than a 5 second delay. Avoiding about 6 such loss of flow events justifies the time spent. You're welcome.

Yes but the latest Veratasium video points out how different types of networks engender cooperation versus division across the network as a whole. Perhaps adjusting the network can make a difference. Is bsky an example?

This experiment was done in the 1890s and 1900s when it was a mainstream viewpoint in the western world that there was intelligent life on Mars. Most scientists were skeptical but many were convinced as well. The impact on life in general was superficial at best despite some obvious concerns.

All 18 will be in training camp and could theoretically get minutes? The Hawks haven't tried that tactic for a long time. Usually at least one spot goes to somebody who they don't actually want.

I once observed a bright Perseid that left a train that lasted 10 minutes. During those 10 minutes I observed 3 other quite bright Perseids as well as a sporadic bolide! Several other members of our local astronomy group were also witnesses to this awesome display back in 1973.

Just saw the highlight package. Best for me was the steal and coast-to-coast drive and dunk in traffic. Worst was the foul that yielded the four point play. The French team's defense seemed to put ZR in a lot of tough spots.

If Giannis is ready to move near the trade deadline then KP and LK could anchor a decent trade. However I would hate to have to watch Giannis play for the Hawks as I hate his style of BB despite his greatness.

I also work on two versions of a story. My first version is "tell the story" where I quickly get the story arc and main beats down. The other is the revision where I "write the story" in hopefully a more enjoyable form. If necessary I will go back and tweak the first even as I work on the second.

Having 3 writing projects going at a time means I always have at least one that I am eager to get back to. YMMV.

I usually keep at least two writing projects going as that seems to keep me motivated. Last night a short story popped into my head so for two hours I had three projects. Later I will rewrite that story completely but getting the main story points down for now feels great.

I think Quin is being honest but omitting a core truth. To whit, Clint no longer fits the style that the team seems to be adapting. It was fine when JJ could distribute from the nail but without him he needs some other big who can do that. OO can. Nance can do it a bit. But Clint simply can't.

Cool. I looked at some of his tape recently and was very impressed. Meanwhile major media guys crack jokes about ignoring Portland despite their recent upturn. Cynics can be so tiresome!

I concur but Hunter also had no trade value relative to his contract last summer so your hypothetical was just as impossible as mine. ;-)

Probably true however Bogi had less than 15 positive minutes all season and so getting off of him last summer before he hurt his trade value would have been even better for the team.

He has risen to 4th place in terms of Vegas odds after being much lower 6 weeks ago. There is time for him to rise more especially if they stop limiting his minutes after the all star break. It is unlikely he will win but he could easily get close.
