Looking back at these old Tribute To The Troops photos as the year winds down has me feeling especially grateful. This work has given me the chance to meet so many incredible Gold Star Families and to let them know that their sacrifices—and the sacrifices of their loved ones—will never be forgotten.

When you are climbing a mountain, whether it’s a real life mountain or a figurative one, you eventually reach the summit. This cruise was reaching a summit, of sorts. It is the culmination of many years of work, using our music to honor Gold Star families.
