After 30 non-fiction books -- the last one for an international publisher -- I've given up an creating a "sustainable" career as a writer & I'm just doing it for myself. I think that it's possible to do so, probably in a different niche than I write. Good luck! Your next book could be the one!

As a certified old "crusty white man," I love Mercedes and the 12, 13, 14 (coming soon) belts as a fantastic storyline that has made her an international star. I just wonder why WWE couldn't have done more for her (or Toni Storm & Athena, really...)

The Muse wasn't the only Nashville venue to be replaced by a Domino's. Sam's Pizza Place in Hillsboro Village -- where artists like Jimmy Buffet, Waylon Jennings, Guy Clark & Townes Van Zandt played -- met the same fate in the 1970s...

We shouldn't let the leftist ideal be the enemy of the progressive good...we'll never create a kinder & more equitable society if we eschew pols like AOC, Bernie, et al because they fail some sort of lunkheaded litmus test... (I consider myself an anarcho-leftist, but I'm also pragmatic!)
