What most city folks don't get is that cash is also about exchange between regular people. That's why cash is king in rural areas : most of us don't have that much money to begin with, I shouldn't have to fear the tax department because I paid John $120 to bring me some manure.

Yesterday I had to wait 10 min in the cantina because some guy was unable to pay with his phone and my food got cold.
I paid in cash and it took 5 seconds.
