As soon as Covid hit, I was forced to just be home all the time, and no longer able to dress in private, I had to start doing that around the house. And it got to the point where the front door felt like the great seal in Indiana Jones, and the last Crusade. A barrier which I could not cross.

After three years of work and production, I have my first live show as Rockstar & Elise tonight. The name comes from the duality I always thought of myself as, the rockstar, half and the girl half. And now of course, they are one. 👩‍🎤🎸💗✨

I knew since I was three years old, and came fairly close to transitioning in my early 20s. For me, knowing from an early age did not lessen the fear. The thing that really helped push me over the edge, other than the pandemic, was finding my community, and seeing possibility.
