The saddest thing about my religious delusions is that for a moment it felt right. Like there was some magic meaning in the world. A bit optimistic. Definitely crazy. Now I’m just left with a regrettable tattoo and a whole lot of nothing. No god, no friends, just emptiness.

I wish I could just get drunk or high and forget life exists for a while. But gotta stay sober on these meds. It’s like torture some days. My dad keeps putting on Fox News. I just watch the same reruns night after night. It’s a slog to exist.
