Unfortunately, I can't just stop and have a rest. After an intense period of working on something, resting just pushes me into a mental/emotional slump. (Sorry if that's over-sharing. But I do try to be open about all the facets of my creative life.)

Whilst finance is global but its governance remains national, it will remain impossible to tax and redistribute huge accumulations of wealth. However, the massive companies who own the AI systems probably don't want binding international agreements on taxation.
