I started getting season pass back in blink season and this was the first one I decided to skip. Just seemed too narrow in archetype, I feel better about the decision now weeks after release it’s not core to any competitive decks.

I’m going to as well. It’s the worst mode imo. Seems like the least decision making and skill expression as possible but also lacks the “no stakes/unlimited plays” high voltage has going for it. The last sanctum was unbearably boring to me.

I also have the purple neon on this variant. I like how it’s the same color as the magic coming from the staff. It’s like she made the border herself. And contrasts the green font.

Haha I remember those days too.. I’m currently on a clix break from tournaments but the game has been pretty good! They even started branching out of marvel/dc (again); 2x2 Kong, space ghost, even D&D characters!

It’s actually ok into the tribunal matchup because of Merlin tech vs limbo. And I prefer it in general because you have more win conditions than just ‘draw torch + trib’

Reporting the deck feels really great! Makkari is a such good free value. Bastion helps consistency in more ways than just doubling a bro too, several games I copied scarlet witch to location change again (or rugpull limbo). I found quake more impactful than omega but otherwise no changes.

I think bro is good for the game the way high evo is; low cost meta deck. Gets screwed by so many locations and it’s a predictable and capped math deck; which makes it easy to retreat against.. I don’t see it as a problem or get frustrated by it. Might eat my words when Bastion is released though 🤣

Or cap the cost she can steal? like “if opponent played a 1 cost here steal it to your side”. Probably still good enough? Demon, Hydra Bob, Deadpool, etc…
