I gave a talk today on Bonsai trees to the “Sisters of Shalom,” some of whom are pictured here. Tu BiShvat, a Jewish event that marks the beginning of the new year for trees. The yearly celebration is also known as the "New Year of the Trees.” I created a tree for the occasion.
