I used to work by the Octoraro Reservoir in southern Lancaster county. We would see up to 20 bald eagles at a time around the reservoir. Also blue herons, sea gulls, vultures, and an occasional kingfisher. My photos:

Nothing new here really, other than today's high tech weapons cost way more than the low tech weapons in the past. Here's a revetment full of 750# bombs most of which were dropped over North Vietnam. There were 4 or 5 similar revetments at Korat RTAFB, Thailand in 1967. Money wasted for nothing!

Nothing new here really, other than today's high tech weapons cost way more than the low tech weapons in the past. Here's a revetment full of 750# bombs most of which were dropped over North Vietnam. There were 4 or 5 similar revetments at Korat RTAFB, Thailand in 1967. Money wasted for nothing!
I worked 17 years at a water treatment plant and tried many times to get a decent photo of a kingfisher but they are so skittish. This is the best I could do through a window. Kingfisher on top of a valve stem. Also visited by bald eagles, blue herons, and many seagulls.

I was on a 14 hour flight from San Francisco to Bangkok in 1967 while in the Air Force. Back then I would have picked Raquel Welch. Later that year, she appeared at our base with Bob Hope.

"Like A Rolling Stone" because in 1967 while with the Air Force in Thailand, I transcribed the lyrics off the record for a Thai band(photo below) to learn. First I recorded it on reel to reel tape which made it easier to go back and forth. Second choice - "If Dogs Run Free"

Blue Heron's hanging out in the trees by the reservoir where I used to work. The most I ever saw at one time was 20.
