It's probably all in encrypted local cache files and in the cloud. It occurs to me that local link generation for self consumption is a fabulous use for tailscale.

Today I made the first lovage soup of the season. And used up some chicken stock bones that had been sitting in the freezer for ages. Deeply satisfying indeed.

What exactly does "pub var" in a struct mean, if it doesn't declare a field? In fact what does "pub" itself mean? The Zig docs don't seem to talk about it explicitly at all.

Interesting wrinkle around defaultValue here. I guess it's not much different from what Go's reflect package does under the hood. And at least StructField.type is first class, which is pretty cool.

I understand Mitchell Hashimoto's verdict of "it's funner than Rust" somewhat now, and I suspect I'll agree (not a high bar!).
I wonder how big those binaries will end up.

YACC definitely has changed a lot since the last time I used it (10 ed unix derivative). Or maybe `.y` doesn't imply YACC these days?
