Works in communications, but would much rather be writing or in the countryside.
She was 9 at the time, and the girl’s school was next door, if she wasn’t there she heard it for sure! Also, Ada Anscombe is my new new hero, but interesting the 1914 game was against a theatre team, and established enough by 1917 to take on a big men’s team, before Dick Kerr Ladies debuted

Have you seen this? I found it thanks to reading the herstory of my team (who beat arsenal men in September 1917), and my grandmother lived right across the road from the 1914 game

That’s what I was thinking, but I noticed a couple said don’t do that. I guess they know how desperate us writers are

You should get on your soapbox more, I enjoyed it. Plus it was an interesting angle the human interaction with technology, and how it changes us, not always for the better

So if you're wondering what sort of man gets a Google Doodle for his birthday 144 years after the fact just for being a WRESTLER, well now you know.

This sort of man. Superman.

And his name is Gama.

I had a similar problem with a pivotal scene, kept thinking it was as good as I could make it. Revisited it weeks later and I realised where I was going wrong and while I won’t say I’ve fixed it, it’s a lot better and closer to where I want it to be. Don’t let it slow you down, circle back to it

Not mention the hoops you have to jump through to even get a firearms license for those that are legal to own and how they have to be stored securely at all times

Just wanted to say there are too many names for important women that I need to remember

But I will

As for Emma Clarke, I’ve written her that she plays so well that Messi would be challenged. Edith Richardson (Tommy) makes him say he’s not worthy!

Florence Beatrice Fenn (married name Dover), every photo of her screams badass, and for that alone she will always be my favourite player. There a blurry photo of the team walking out and you can spot her a mile away and I like to think Roy Kent was based on her

Funnily enough, that’s how I described Lady Florence Dixie. But Nettie, she’s the first lioness, and Helen Matthews as the Scottish equivalent

Just started reading it, and have to stop for a bit as it seems your introduction has left something in my eye

Nettie would be proud. Keep pushing those boundaries
