Are they the ones at Marsh Wall?
rogerchicken.bsky.social
I'd figured they probably had been, I just think they look a bit too 'shiny'. I suppose we should be 'thankful' developers didn't just rip the arse out of the buildings and replace them with some of the lego monstrosities they used elsewhere along the river

Some fings wot we saw in Sarf East Lahndon

I'm not a fan of the ghost signs along Shad Thames, just an unsubtle tactic by estate agents/developers in my view. Apart from this one, where they've used a '0' instead of an 'O'

@royreed.bsky.social This one by Shad Thames, also has one on the river side.

Some nice old shop signs in Isleworth. @ghostsigns

I actually walked past it last night on my way home from the Coach & Horses up the road, but didn't spot it until today.

I'll have a better look next time, maybe from the upper deck of a bus it'll be a touch clearer.

@royreed.bsky.social The big one is on the map, but below is a 'The Barnes Pharmacy' one painted over, not sure how clear it comes across.

@royreed.bsky.social 167 King Street, W6. Spotted by junior on a bus. The right side seems to have 'non' or 'mon'. Very little left

I think the date is on the front of the building, I'll have a look. When it was the builders merchants they had a huge basement where the timber bit was. It still runs beneath 3 of the 4 shops in its place.

Used to be a timber/builders merchants there, Chandler's I think, in the 70s. What do you reckon?

@royreed.bsky.social sure I posted this before. This is on the side of 158 Fulham Palace Rd. There appears to be an outline, and a C or G at the bottom. Annoying as I walked past this every day as a kid but can't remember it. 1/2

@royreed.bsky.social There's this one, on Sulgrave Road w6. Best i can tell you is it is on the side of a building, opposite no. 81. There is a row of mansion blocks, all individually named, and Google earth doesn't afford a view of it.
rogerchicken.bsky.social
It's already on the map but good to know it's still here, on the back of 6, King Street, W6.

Could have quite an 'exciting' one today, one that's rarely seen. 🙄🙄🤔

@royreed.bsky.social Rather disappointingly a few have gone, or almost gone... FC Dyson, on the corner of Brooke Road has been built on, J crane on Stoke Newington Church St has been defaced and 'Overhauls' just seems to have faded.
