Here are 2 views of the same "Twiglees." A ballet dancer--& the first I made. I shaped it from a failed Carissa Holly shrub that was badly root-bound before I had planted it in our yard. I'm fairly sure I over-fertilized it, too.

The end with leaves comes from the trunk & branches of a small, dead shrub. The left half came from the roots.
I shaped the head by soaking a root, bending it, and then holding it in that shape with a strong rubber band until it dried.
