Finally watched Santosh. I have never seen such an accurate depiction of police brutality in India, and how it intersects with brahminical caste apartheid and misogyny. Everyone should watch this movie, no wonder the brahmin censorship board of India banned it.

Indian online spaces were always turning into an islamophobic, billionaire loving echo-chamber, but escalations like this really allow the gov to further accelerate this. Cutting textbook chapters, banning films, kicking out human rights orgs and jailing journos and activists. Absolutely backwards.
